As I entered the newly remodeled City Place in downtown West Palm Beach, I could appreciate the planning, time, and investment that was made to appeal to tourists, residents, and snowbirds. I was here during the renovation and remember the heavy equipment, dust, bangs, loud voices, construction workers and jack hammers. I had to vision what could be.
Today, the streets are lined with colorful pavers and the feel provides a European experience. Outdoor lights are hung high in the air and provide illumination for the busy nightlife. Downtown now has a romantic ambiance ideal for dating, gathering and entertainment.
Shopping is on the main floor and luxurious apartments set above the crowds offering up that European feel. Upstairs you'll discover a variety of restaurants that will appeal to almost any appetite and there is easy access to restrooms and parking.
On the main level you'll gawk at a concert stage, restaurants, fountains, and valet parking. There is plentiful seating to take a break and boutiques will entice any type of shopper. This art festival event was a major success for City Place and the artists who participated.
