Loggerhead Marine Life Center

Located in Loggerhead Park at 14200 U.S. Hwy 1, Juno, Beach, Florida visitors will find a unique turtle research and educational center. Volunteers stand by at the ready to answer questions regarding the injured sea turtles who are kept in large tanks to help them begin the rehabilitation process. Each turtle has a chart and the details or where they were found and the types of treatment they are receiving. At the far end of the center there are usually baby sea turtles waiting to be place on kelp beds miles off shore. When a turtle is ready to be released back into the ocean, visitors are able to watch the release and cheer them on as they make their way back into the sea. I have witnessed several sea turtle releases during my seven years of living in the Palm Beaches and I still get the same tingling exhilarating seeing them crawl back into the sea.
